Proceed to State Board of Examiners Status of Legislation in the Pennsylvania General AssemblyBefore you check the status of legislation in the Pennsylvania General Assembly you must become familiar with how to use their web page. Once you are in the site, arrow down and click on Session Information and then click on Electronic Bill Room. At this point you have two options. One option is to click on Bill Topic Index. If you do this, an alphabet bar menu will appear. Then click on H and arrow down to Hearing, then click on Hearing and you will find pending bills related to hearing. You can also use the alphabet bar to click on other letters like U for Universal Screening or C for Children, etc. The other option is stay in the Electronic Bill Room and type in the number of the bill preceded by HB for House Bill or SB for Senate Bill. For either option it is important that you choose the correct legislative session year. Once you take either option, you will arrive at a page where you can select the Bill History or the text of the Bill. Proceed to Status of Legislation in the Pennsylvania General Assembly
