The acoustic reflex is an object test unaffected bky listener variable that provides information on auditory function from the middle ear to the brain-stem. There are multiple valuable clinical applications of the acoustic reflex in pediatric and adult patient populations. This session provides a practical evidence-based current review of acoustic reflex measurements and clinical applications. CPT codes for acoustic reflex measurement and the role of acoustic reflexes in the diagnostic test battery are also discussed.
